Hello,

I reckon I have spent about 3000 hours researching my genealogy.
However I have not finished yet!!!

When people say the have got back to XXXX with their family name, it
is possible if they are expert genealogists. They could achieve this
with one line, if their ancestors lived in an area where all the
records have survived and are well indexed. They may also be
accepting genealogies that they find online as being the correct line
for them. But where's the fun in that? What's the hurry anyway?
Genealogy should be an absorbing pleasurable way of passing time; not
a race to trace your lineage to Adam!

Just think about the numbers. Each generation the number of ancestors
doubles. Before you know it you've got more ancestors than ever
lived.

Cheers
