I know that my great aunt Mary MCQUEEN married someone called GORE, and I think I have found the marriage in the GRO Index (Sept. Q 1902). However there is a difference in the reference numbers for bride and groom. For Mary MCQUEEN it is 1a 469, but for Herbert Thomas GORE it is 1a 489.
Is it possible that one of these numbers is incorrect?
