Hi Michael,
In the newer map that I have, which I think is probably 1920+, the road that
you want is there.
For most of its length it runs parallel with Maida Vale, to the south. Maida
Vale continues into Edgware Road which is on the modern A - Z of London.
At the north end of Portsdown Road it meets Carlton Vale. At the south end
of Portsdown Road it continues as Warrington Crescent.
Most of Portsdown Road runs to the north of Paddington Recreation Ground.
