Hello Listers
I have ancestors traced back to the Holloway and
Islington areas of London and wondered if others might have similar
connections/ancestors.

My grandfather, George William Lawford was born in Islington, 1864
Victoria Place, Queens Rd ).
His parents, Emily Webb & George Lawford, were married at St James Church,
Parish of Islington, 1864 ( residence St James, Holloway )
My great, great grandparents, George Lawford and Sophia Scarborough were
married in The Parish Church of Islington ( Saint Mary,s maybe? ) in 1840,
residence of both was Holloway.

This George Lawford's father was Frederick Lawford and Sophia 's father was
Joseph Scarborough.
I have a Christening off the IGI for Sophia in 1816 at the Upper Street
Independent Church in Islington.

Do I have any rellies out there ?
