Cathy,
Do you know in which parish such papers might appear? As an example there
was a real case in my family (birth in 1906) where the unmarried mother
lived in Streatham, had the baby in Queen Charlotte's in Paddington, and
within a month or so either side of the birth, the whole family moved to
Kilburn (probably for 'respectability' reasons). The (unknown named)
father may have lived (or at least was then working) in Clapham.
