I am researching the DAKIN name and have information that ancestors were
born within the "sound of the Beau (sp?) bells". Does anyone have
knowledge about where this might be?

I have an address where ancestors were supposedly born: 12 Dartnell Road,
Camberswell, England. When I did a search for this address, I got a map
showing 12 Dartnell Road in Croydon.

Does anyone know if Camberswell existed at one time and where it was? In
what county would Croydon be?
