Dear Listers

I did reply to Roy personally but as there's been a few postings on the
subject,
thought it might be of use to someone.

Regards - Simon

Roy,

There are 2 ways of doing this:

1). Print the page out then scan it in.
I can use some software called U-Lead and you can cut all the 'nasty
black'
bits out and save the file.
2). This one's probably more the favourable.
If you haven't a scanner then there is a 'freebie' program called
IRFANVIEW
which you can download (not very big).
You should be able to locate this by doing a search on Google.
(if not then let me know)
Now follow these instructions:

a). Hide the Navigation Pane of Acrobat (click on 4th icon from the left)
b). Locate the page you want to save, then press the Fit Width icon (2nd
from right)
c). Press the 'Print Screen' key on the keyboard, on mine it's 3rd from
right.
(this loads it into the clipboard)
d). Now load I_VIEW32.EXE program (IRFANVIEW)
e). Click on edit then paste
f). Now cut out the bits you don't want.
f). Put the cursor top left hand corner but make sure it's not where the
'horrible' bits are.
g). Now click down left button of mouse (hold) and drag to bottom right hand
corner and
let go of button (this now puts a box around it)
h). Now click on 'edit' then 'crop'
i). Now save the file as you want.

Hope this helps, regards - Simon

Roger,

If you really /have/ worked out how to copy one page, not print to paper,
rather than the whole 200/300/400 pages of an individual file, would you
please share it with the rest of us?

I think you'll find that these documents are encrypted.

Clue, carefully examine the task bar at the bottom of the Acrobat Reader.
