But Finchley, Middlesex, is not on the IGI, so you would not find it.
The IGI onlyt includes several million records, not every parish
register there ever was.

Wrong place. They do not hold parish registrers are therefore do not
know a lot about them. You need to contact the London Metropolitan
Archives. They don't do free research, but would probably suggest an
