Hi, I have a great great who was a customs officer in Stepney. He baptised
all his children C of E (St. Dunstan) on the same day in 1817. He may have
been a Baptist. Would he be required to be C of E to work as a customs
officer? Hence the baptisms? Thanks, Sandy
