Firstly, Happy New Year to everyone!

I have also accessed the 1901 site and have a word of warning for everyone.
I opened an account with a maximum limit of £5.00 and spent £1.00 of it -
then the internet connection was severed. Because I couldn't suspend my
session I think I have lost the other £4.00 as I couldn't resume with my
account number when I re-connected with the site. I am awaiting a reply to
my e-mail requesting to be credited with the £4.00 and until I hear I won't
be opening myself up to losing more money!

Having said that, I have managed to find many of my people using the free
index (names I am researching are listed below) and think it's brilliant
that we have access to this information on-line.
