I dont know if this of any help to you Lyn, but I have CORNFORDs in my 1851
census of Sussex parishes of wivesfield, ditchling,Westmeston,East
Chiltington,Streat,Plumpton,Hamsey,Chailey,Newick,Barcombe and Ringmer
