They were not that busy last Thursday evening (and hopefully not
tomorrow either). However, the link to the 1901 census had been stopped

There was some concern by the FRC that the demand for the 1901 census
would have a knock-on effect on the rest of the FRC services ie people
looking up the BMD registers for people found on the census and on other
census years being consulted as a result of info gained from the 1901
census.I would like to visit the FRC soon, not for the 1901 census,I can
be patient as I still have a lot of work to do on other records. Did you
find that the other services were very busy???
