A request to someone out there with military expertise. I have a stamped
certificate which states that my grandfather who was with "The City of
London Imperial Volunteers".was given:
"FREEDOM GRANTED BY ORDER OF THE COURT OF COMMON
COUNCIL UNDER DATE OF 20th December l899"
It states much more, and it has a red seal stamp as well.
