Hello Terri

You can obtain information about clergemen in 'Crockfords' - a yearly
publication - however it only commenced in around the mid 1800's.
You can write to the Anglican Archives - their records are limited and they
send a photostat copy of the alumni record - at a cost for photocopying and
postage (snail mail).
The best thing to do is consult the Oxford or Cambridge Alumni Records -
both these series of volumes are probably available at your nearest large
library. We sent an email to Oxford and they emailed results back.
Cambridge Alumni records are available on ancestry.com if you subscribe.
I will be going to our library in the next couple of weeks to look for more
details for myself - I will look up details for you if you would like.

Kind Regards
Jill
