Hello Helen,

I have just read all the Emails about these 'delicate situations' and agree
with one of the writers; you only have two choices, do nothing and forget
about it, or take the plunge.

My friend, ex Dr Barnardos, is prepared to be disappointed. Her philosophy is
that a member of her family may be just as eager to find her so she is
willing to take on board any disappointments that may ensue.
