No June, is the short answer to that.
You should only use 'given' material as a starting
point and check for yourself if it is true or not.
You should 'source' the information to ensure its
correctness. If however the donor was a
professional and being paid for original sources,
then I think you may expect them to be 'sourced'
properly.
