Would a kind lister with an index for London do a look
up for me....???

Looking for -
-Benjamin WOODS (or maybe listed as Wood)
-age abt 29/30
-born Bow Common, London
-occupation in 1901 - slaters labourer
(may have a brother Alfred age abt 35)
-'may' be married to Louisa Ann COLLINS
-age abt 16 to 19
-born Wandsworth London
-but may not be married yet, first child (?) born
1895.
I cannot find the marriage certificate of Benjamin
WOODS and Louisa Ann COLLINS and I have searched and
searched the BMD fiche at my local LDS and Free BMD
going backward and forward from the date of 1895.
I do not know the parents names of Benjamin WOODS nor
Louisa Ann COLLINS - however their children names were
Benjamin, William, Brittania Isabella, Violet May,
Sophie, Maud, Ellen Florence and Mary Ann.

In 1901 this family was living in Stratford, West Ham
and all the children were born there. If Benjamin
Woods and Louisa Ann Collins were already living in
this area in the 1901 census, I assume I am out of
luck with finding them and will have to wait until the
Essex 1891 census is indexed?????

I am working on the fiche for West Ham, but have not
found either of them yet. It is of course slow going.

Any help would be welcomed......

and warm!
