In search of my elusive CANDLINs in London, many of whom never show up in
the records, I suddenly had the thought that a badly written N could look
like a U. Hey presto found a just a few more - still loads missing though,
so keep your eyes peeled please.

In freebmd I found:

Births Dec 1877
CANDLIN Alice St.Olave 1d 226
CAUDLIN Alice St Olave Bermondsey 1d 226

Alice has obviously been entered twice for the double keying check - the
surname is quite uncommon. I know the entry should read CANDLIN Alice (she
was a great aunt).

Should one notify freebmd of know errors and if so how?

Regards,
Diane
