Brunswick Square is the address that belonged to St. Giles
Hospital.Probably where administration went on. My grandmother died there
also, and of TB, in 1908. My father was born there too. I have written to
the London Metropolitan Archives for more details of these events, and
expect a reply any day now. I will let you know the result. You can apply
for all the information that you need on line to the LMA, I found this very
useful. Good Luck Madeleine.

Hello all,
Can anyone please tell me if in 1929, 5 Brunswick Square in N W Camberwell,
was anything other than a private residence.
My grandmothers death certificate gives this address as the place of death,
but it is not her home address. She died of TB, so I wondered if maybe it
was some kind of sanitorium, or possibly even a workhouse or similar
institution.
Thank you
Jackie
