I always use the online method of ordering certificates and
have never had to wait more than 7-9 days - try emailing
them.I did this when I had a query on a certificate and had
a reply almost immediately.

My Greatgrandmother died in Camberwell and going through the
BMDs found a
death certificate that would fit. Thought I would try and
order it online.
Everything seemed to go through o.k. but I am still waiting!
If anyone has used this system of acquiring certificates,
can they tell me
whether I should expect to get this certificate back by
snail mail or online
and how long it usually takes?
Many thanks, Isabel
