What a great comparison of the 1881 returns you have made!

You saw an opportunity to really test how accurate the information can be and
you took it. So now we not only have to worry about the transcription from
the enumerator's book to "type" but also the enumerator's basic data. I know
there were errors because I have found some in the recorded data for members of
my own family, but you found a very high error rate, much higher than I would
have thought.
