Many apologies - the virus checkers didn't pick it up!

The good news is that if your virus checker didn't pick it up it is
probably not *you* who is infected but someone else who has your name in
their address book.

However for anyone who has missed the publicity about the MyDoom virus
(also called NoVarg) it is the latest nasty to rampage around.

Usual commonsense applies.

Make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date.

Don't open ANY unexpected attachments, no matter who they appear to come
from. If you think it might be genuine, email the sender to check.

If sending a legitimate attachment please email the recipient in advance
and tell them what filename to expect.

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/ type="text/javascript">DisplayMail('mm.html','w32.novarg.a');

has all the gory details.

If you are unfortunate enough to become infected it would be appreciated
if you temporarily unsubscribe until your clean-up is done.
