Subject: Help Reading Street Name on 1891 Census
Date: Sat, 22 May 2004 18:40:12 -0700 (PDT)
Hello Everyone.....
Wondering if somebody help me read a street name on
the 1891 Census. My G Grandmother Catherine LIDDEL was
staying as a visitor at #103 (and what looks like)
Winitanly/Wonitanly/Winstanly Road
Having not had much practise at reading "old"
handwriting I was wondering if anyone could give me a
more definite idea of the road name?
Also can any one confirm her occupation, to me it
looks like it say "starch jacky"?
The 1891 Census info is as follows:
RG12/434
Folio: 40
Page: 11
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer
Kind Regards
Claire (British Virgin Islands)
