Hi everyone, are there any Taylor researchers out there. My Edward Taylor
was said to have come from the Clerkenwell Finsbury area, he was tried at
the Old Bailey in 15th September 1813 aged 21. I have his convict papers
here and some of the witnesses were Susannah Feast from Bull's Head Court,
King Street, Peter Street and Edward Willis a Clothier at Clerkenwell
Green. His accomplices were John Turner and Ann Smith. If there is
anybody on this list researching any of these people I have mention of them
here.
Also Edward would have been born circa 1792, so if anybody has any Taylor
families for that time and from that area I would love to hear from
them. We do have possible candidates of Edward and Phillis Taylor of St
Leonards, Shoreditch,London for our Edwards parents, but of course this is
just a possibility at the moment.
Best regards
Maureen
