Hi list

In my case, a middle name was introduced from outside the family. A
daughter Katherine and a son George of my PHILLIPS family both gave a
child the middle name of MORRIS. This came from a man Watkin MORRIS, who
was associated with the family over at least 30 years, though I don't know
what the link was. I can't find a blood tie. I wonder if he may have been a
long-serving employee who joined the family soon after the death of the
father of Katherine and George when they were both very young. Perhaps he
became a surrogate father. But he didn't marry their mother, and was not
mentioned in her will.

Barbara in chilly Brighton SAus.
