Just received birth cert of my gt.gt.Grandfather, on it his father describes his occupation as a "prefoman" or it could be "profoman". Anyone any clues?? He lived in St Clement Danes area of London/Middx.
(My Grandfather grew up to become a compositor in the printing industry, no idea if he followed in his Fathers footsteps or not)
