Hi All
I wrote a bit on not finding a birth registration , someone replying to check
1837 online which I have.

The couple were married 3 years before childs birth. They split up abt
7years after with mother living in sin with new partner until she married the new
partner a few years after this on the death of her husband.
The son was then in a childrens home. Why isnt there a birth marriage or
death certificate for him. I have been right through the St Catherines index
manually at the library and online with 1837 and it cost a fortune. He does not
show on US census or Canadian census which is where he would have been sent if
emigrated

The childs name is Henrich or Henry BILLIGE / BILLAGE differing census
variations born abt 1890. Also looked at WILLIGE/ WILLig/BILLEDGE etc . 1891 states
born Germany , 1901 states born Middlesex. I dont think the child was born
in Germany as the father also fathered another child here. Even if he was
surely he would be married or died here as there would not have been any further
contact with Germany after the death of his father.
I have also checked for births in mothers maiden name and all these children
are accounted for by death or on the 1901 census. The father is unemployed
in 1891 and child is living with both parents
Contact with descendent of the other Billage family has not achieved
anything.

Any ideas ??
