I know about my Queenie because I can remember her from when I was a little
girl. Also, my mum told me Queenie's mother's name was Charlotte and that
she was my nan's cousin. I've found a Charlotte who married my
g.grandfather's brother (so far so good) and would assume that they're the
parents of Queenie. However, searches on FreeBMD and FamilyRelatives have
turned up nothing for Queenie. My mum says she was older than my Nan but not
by much as they were quite close whilst growing up so that would put her
birth at somewhere before 1914 and after 1902 (when Charlotte and Charles
married).
BTW: Just thought I'd mention that I believe this Charles was the elusive
WAG I asked about earlier in the week. Sounds right if my nan used to call
him Uncle Wag and several listers told me they had Charles' in their
families known as Wag.
