Thank you, Brian et al, for nudging me into pursuing my son's MOSES
ancestors again.
Frederick Thomas MOSES married Elizabeth TAYLOR [yes - I know - I can't face
it either] at Notting Hill in 1874.
Frederick's father was William Sandwell MOSES, born circa 1813 in
Marylebone.
William and Susan[nnah] MOSES were living in Portobello Road from 1871 to
1891.
So - who were the parents of William Sandwell MOSES? The IGI gives us a
baptism of a John Sandwell Moses [11 Dec 1816, St Marylebone] with parents
Charles and Elizabeth. Please someone, tell me something to stop me
assuming that William and John were brothers.
