Please - could someone with access to the 1871 census locate George or possibly John PARKER [born Messingham, Lincolnshire, aged 37] and his wife Ellen PARKER [born somewhere-in-Yorkshire, aged 26]?
Their children are likely to be:
Walter Thomas [11], Sarah Ann, Ellen, Charlotte, George, John, Albert [2].
In 1861 they were in Albany Street, Pancras, and by 1881 I think that George had died and that Ellen was in Goldney Road, London [sic].
I am hoping to work out why my Sarah Ann PARKER names her father as John on her marriage certificate. Probably because he really was named John and this is the wrong family altogether!
Thank you very much.
Delia
