These two Marylebone censuses, and the indexes, have been filmed by LDS and
are held at Westminster Archives. They are indexed only by surname. Some
listers (but not I) have the index on CD.
The census returns themselves give only the surname of head of household --
no first names. They give an indication of how many families live in each
house, gender and age ranges (e.g. 2 males aged 40-50), and whether the HoH
is in trade or manufacturing etc., also the numbers of servants. They are of
limited use, but they can support (or demolish) a theory that your family is
at an address where you think they should be at the relevant date. Contact
me off list if you want to know more.
