I have a similar situation with my O'Keeffes, although they were married
in Ireland I believe. None of the children seem to be registered; I
assume they just didn't see any mileage in doing so. And I'm sure the
kids were baptized, but I'll bet London to a brick it wasn't in the C of
E! Probably never know where. My reading about the Irish in London
before 1850 suggests that they were often only nominal Catholics,
although there were little Irish pods or groups with connections to
Roman Catholic clergy, prior to the establishment of more accessible
churches.
A good book about the subject is called Erin in Exile. Can't remember
the author's name but I have it somewhere and could look it up. It is
out of print but I had no trouble buying it second hand on line.
