Hi all
I was there on a tour earlier this summer, but I was part of a Librarians
group - I work for Richmond Borough Libraries. We were taken behind the
scenes which interested me far more! It was split into 2 sections - the
Records and then the library, over 2 hours. Far too short a time!
Anyone interested in tours like this, but can't get to Kew, could ask their
local archive centre if they do such a thing - I'm sure many of them do. And
if they don't, ask if they could do an Open Day. If you've got friends
interested give them roughly some idea of numbers. They may even be prepared
to arrange the visits on days when they are closed, or in the evening.
Always worth asking - after all, they can only say no, can't they?
Cheers
Andy

Hi, The first time I went there was a guided tour which took about 20 mins
on arrival after you checked in. Has that been stopped? I seem to have
seen groups of people being given a tour each time I go.
