Is there SKS who has access to the Oxford Journals and is able to look up
the following for me:
PSALM AND HYMN TUNES
HYAM Notes and Queries. 1867
S3-X1: 40-41
This was written by Sumerset HYAM and I'm trying to find a twig! Hoping that
someone will be able to assist by looking it up or is it just available by
purchasing credits to obtain the above info.
Regards
Marilyn

Subject: [Lon] Baptized twice
I have a child who was baptized twice. Can someone suggest why this might
have occurred?
In Feb 1828 he was baptized with his siblings at St Leonard's, Shoreditch,
and they all resided in Bailey Court, Webb Square.
51 weeks later he was baptized at St Matthew's, Bethnal Green. By this time,
the abode was the Workhouse. He died two weeks later.
I know it's the same child (John), because the date of birth is given in
both registers, and the parents have the same names - and the father has the
same occupation. The surname is LESURF - somewhat unusual in this country.
Grateful for any ideas.
Gill
