I have a marriage in Manchester in 1878 and a child born in 1879 but by
1881 the husband was living with somebody else and was still with her in
1891 and 1901 but couldn't find the death of the 1st wife or a second
marriage. I eventually found the 1st wife in an institute about 100
miles away and when she eventually died in 1907 the husband remarried.

I had trouble finding Ann's death so went on to looking for them in the
1851
census (no luck) then the marriage with Harriet.
Finally found that in MarchQ 1857 Bosmere vol4a p717. There was a death
for
an Ann Wright in the same region in MarQ 1857. I suppose Robert
couldn't
have just left Ann, set up with Harriet, and then married Harriet only
when
Ann died?
