Hi Josi,

I think I read in the past that the Geoghegans came from Ireland. I have no idea how to approach Irish searches/research so am hoping that you can please forward the following to an appropriate site - it might help someone find that lost rellie.

Also, I have some assorted English and Scottish burials for the same cemeteries, do you know if there is a central site to which I could post them?

Buried in the Maffra Cemetery, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia

O'CONNOR. Sacred to the memory of MIchael O'Connor Native of Co. Kerry Ireland. Died 1 July 1882 age 35 years. Deeply regretted.

GIBNEY. Of your charity pray for the eternal repose of Margaret Gibney who departed this life 13 March 1893 age 65 years. Also her husband James Joseph Gibney, native of Dublin, Ireland and on of the pioneers of this district who departed this life 21 December 1899 age 75.

KELLEHER. Erected by Ann Kelleher in memory of her bloved husband John Kelleher who died 10 November 1875 age 42 years. Native of Co. Kerry Ireland. Ann died 20 February 1927 age 89.

McGRATH. Sacred to the memory of Patric McGrath Native of Co. Tipperary, Ireland died 26 August 1911 age 62 years. Erected by his loving wife and children. Also his beloved wife Margaret, Native of Kilkenny Ireland died 27 December 1925 age 74 also their children James died Augsut 1915, Mary died July 1925, William died October 1927 and grand daughter Lorna.

FULLERTON. John died 6May 1942. Margaret died 24 May 1926 born in Ireland. Zilda 8 April 1975. Lena 4 July 1971.

McINERNEY. In loving memory of Elizabeth McInerney died 1 March 1883 age 24 years. Also Annie McInernay died 23 January 1891 age 28 years. R.I.P. The two youngest daughters of Morgan McInerney County Cleare, Ireland. Beloved sisters of Maria and Nellie.

FALL and ????. In memory of Jane beloved wife of James Fall died 21 May 1904 age 84 years. Also the above James Fall born County Tyrone Irel died 24 December 1905 age 70 years. Also James beloved son of above died 22 January 1979 age 21 years. Also John dearly beloved husband of Sarah Fall died 7 September 1906 age 60 years. ( I photocopied this and 1979 is what it says, however, it maybe should read 1879.)

TEELING. In remory of John TEELING died 20th April 1891 aged 21. In loving memory of John TEELING born Kildare, Ireland died 20th July 1906 age 64 and his wife Susan nee Rowley born Gippsland, died 22 August 1923 age 81. Erected by their children Maggie, Mary, Richard, Ann, Susan, Alice and Kate.

LOGUE/CROCKETT. Of your charity pray for the soul of Thomas Logue a native of Carricart Co. Donegal Ire. died 9 June 1891 age 70 years. During 30 years residence in Stratford and 9 years membership of Avon Shire Council he eared the character of a patriotic Irishman and a devoted Catholic and an upright citizen R.I.P. Also for the soul of Ellen Crockett beloved sister of the above died 16 February 1996 age 70 years. erected by her loving son C.J. Crockett R.I.P. Also their devoted nephew and son George J. Crockett died 11 October 1927.

O'BRIEN/MURPHY. In memory of Patrick O'Brien who was killed by his horse 17 May 1868 Native of Cork, Ireland. age 19 years. Erected by his mother Mary Murphy.
