Hi to all

Would SKS please be able to tell me how I would go about finding
apprenticeship records for my missing Thomas?

On his arrival in Australia it was noted on his convict indenture that he
was a toymaker (at age 16). I assume this to mean that he would have been
apprenticed to learn the trade and that this might enable me to find out
some more information about him.

He was born c 1803 and London is described as his 'native' place on his
Certificate of Freedom. He was tried in the Surrey Quarter Sessions in 1819.

cheers
Linda (Perth West Oz)
