Hello List,
I have purchased a marriage certificate which tells me of a MARK WELCH
father, cow keeper?, who was born abt. 1800. His sons were drovers also of
St. James Clerkenwell, Thomas m. Mary Taylor 1845 and Mark jr.
I am trying to find the parents of said Mark Welch father.........He married
a Mary.....prior to his first child (IGI) 1819....
There do not appear to be any Mark Welchs' births or christenings on IGI
around this period.....
I am trying to determine whether this person was in fact a brother of a
Thomas WELCH, shoemaker and greengrocer also of St. James Clerkenwell. A
long shot I expect, but both were married and having children in the same
area during the same period.
Thanks for any help forthcoming.
Robyn
