In 1844 my relation Thomas Selby was born at 10 Southampton Terrace,
Islington.

In the 1841 Census it is in St. Pancras, Kentish Town. I had thought
that it is

known as Calshot Street today, but I think I am mistaken as the
location seems off.

Would anyone know more about this street?

There is a reference to Southampton Terrace here:

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/hitch/gendocs/lon-str.html

I think this is the St Pancras reference that you mention.

Since the demise of the website "Lost London Streets" it is not easy
to locate the old renamed streets.
