Subject: [LON] Any good history of Shoreditch and area?
Hello gang,
I havediscovered quite a few family members around St. Leonard's,
Shoreditch. This area seems to be at the crossroad of Bethnal Green and
Spitalfields as their addresses seem to shift from one designation to the
other. I recently read a nice paperback on Kentish Town which I picked up at
the bookstore and I am wondering if anyone knows of a good book for the
Shoreditch/Bethnal Green/Spitalfield area. I find a lot of general London
books but it is much harder to find one on a specific neighbourhood. My
people seem to have been predominantly silk weavers in the area.
God bless
John Paul
