Maree,
Death Duty registers are held at TNA in class IR 26. This is the link to the
TNA catalogue entry for the registers for the year (1881), surname (W) and
folio number (26) which you have found in the index at Findmypast.
http://tinyurl.com/5o5qqs
Click "Request This" (top right) and follow the instructions, ensuring you
include the folio number and the name of the testator in the information
box.
I have to say that other listers have reported difficulty in ordering copies
of these entries online from TNA, especially at these later dates.
Apparently some of the original pages are too large to be handled in this
way. Also, the information included in the register entry may be barely
worth the expense, especially if you already have a copy of the will. It is
worth an initial enquiry, but you will probably want to get an estimate
before actually ordering.

I am somewhat confused about how to order a copy of a Death Duty
Register entry at the National Archives.
Apparently if I can find the correct catalogue reference number then I
can order a digital or paper copy to be made and posted
to me. (I live in Adelaide, Australia).
I have located the name of my ancestor in the Death Duty Register Index
which is on the "findmypast" web site.
The year is 1881, David WILSON of Hyde Park. Under the "Court" section
is reads "P. R.".
The folio number is given as 26
Apparently I am supposed to be able to use this information to find the
full entry for David Wilson at the National Archives.
I am seriously going round in circles here and getting a tad
frustrated. I have read and reread the blurb on the National Archives
web site.
I just can't seem to figure it out.
Could anyone with familiarity of using to Index entry to locate the
correct catalogue entry for the Register at Kew please please
contact me.
Thanks heaps,
Maree in Adelaide
