Modern day Freeling Street is clearly shown on Google maps: just put
the street name plus Islington in google search engine and go to maps.

Incidentally, Holloway Road and Caledonian Road are not the same:
Freeling Street is shown as an east west road between Carnoustie Drive
and Caledonian Road, the junction with Caledonian Road being south of
that Road's junction with Bridgeman Road.

Holloway Road is further east, running north-west to south-east to
Highbury Corner. Further north (around the Nags Head area) Camden
Road/Caledonian Road meets it on the western side: with Tollington
Road on the eastern side.

Holloway Road is the A1 and joins the A1M further north, Camden Road
is the A503, and Caledonian Road is the A5203.

You might have to refer to Eric Willat's Streets of Islington for
further information. (However, as far as I know this is not still
published, it is listed on Amazon but not currently available.) That
book would tell you about the changes of names of streets and their
dates of naming, thus you might be able to find out more about
Murline!
