Hi Listers
I've got Robert William Henry France and Susannah Maria France who both died
1894 (15 march & 26 June resp) in St Giles and Bloomsbury Workhouse. Both
Buried at Finchley by 'Friends'.
As they came from a fairly well off family of Undertakers and there were
still many of their relations around in London at the time (sons etc) I
find it puzzling that they ended up in the Workhouse!
How can I find out more regarding the circumstances that led to their
incarceration?
Which cemetery is Finchley and who are the 'friends' that buried them?
Any info would be great.
Regards
Jack Ross
