I have been asked to help with finding resources as follows:

I need to gather some statistics on unemployment, education and housing in Brixton between 1958 and 1981

I know I can check out the Office for National Statistics website, but I wonder whether anyone who has been researching Brixton can offer any further suggestions? My normal London research is for family history purposes and I've never needed to look at Brixton. A Vision of Britain in Time & British History Online are 2 resources I may be able to use.
