In 1871 Charles Appears to have two brothers if I have the right man.
Do you know what happened to the because after 1881 , they seem to disappear too.
Maybe they all went some place together
Just my two penn'orth

Hi Bob,
The fact you give his middle name may mean you have already found the same records as me.
There is a baptism on Ancestry
Name: Thomas Lucas Stephenson
Gender: Male
Birth Date: abt 1845
Christening Date: 23 Jan 1845
Christening Place: Petistree, Suffolk, England Father's Name: William Henry Stephenson Mother's Name: Fanny
That is also on FamilySearch.
In 1851 there is Thomas S. STEPHENSON b 1844,Petistree, son of Fanny, widow living in Ufford. The "S" could be "L".
In 1861 there is Thomas L. STEPHENSON b 1844, Suffolk, apprentice, living in the house of William Steggall, draper in Chelsea. There is another Thomas L.
b 1845 Middlesex, son of Henry.
In 1871 there is TLS b 1844, Ufford, Sussex (sic), living with Fanny in South Hackney. He is an upholsterer.
I cannot find him in 1891.
Despite the difference in occupation if you know the Thomas in 1881 is yours, and you know his middle name was Lucas, it all seems to fit together.
Now if you already know all that and are trying to track him forward, I will have another look but at the moment I am unsure what you know and what you are looking for.
Christine

Good morning everyone, i have searched for Thomas for a very long time without success. I found Thomas age 37, born Ufford, Suffolk, occ. electro plater in the 1881 census living as a boarder at 31 Bishops road, St. John The Devine, Lambeth. RG11 / 612 / 25. I have searched emigration records and death / burials and realize there are many Thomas L STEPHENSON’s. Could i please ask for the help of the list in trying to break down one of my brick walls. Thank you in advance.
Bob
