These are some of the details of my Crawfords from Abbeville.

Known ancestor was William Andrew CRAWFORD b.abt.1816 in Abbeville, SC. ,
migrated to Fayette Co., Al bet.1845 and 1850, moved to Dunklin Co., MO after
the Civil War, and died there in 1900.

His wife was Susannah Emeline DOBBINS b.abt.1818 in Anderson, SC, married
William before 1840, and died in 1900 in Dunklin Co.MO. Her father was James
DOBBINS b.abt 1790 and Elizabeth PORTER. Grandparents were James DOBBINS
b.abt 1742 and Elizabeth STEPHENSON b.1752 in Augusta, VA.. (All lived in
Pendleton/Anderson). Other grandparents were SAMUEL PORTER b.1763 in Guilford,
NC and Susannah __. Samuel PORTER lived very near to William Andrew
CRAWFORD'S father in Abbeville.

I have quite a bit on my DOBBINS AND PORTERS.

My biggest problems are regarding the parentage and grandparentage of William
Andrew Crawford. I have reason to believe that his father's household was
this:

WILLIAM CRAWFORD b.1775-1780 (father)
ELIZABETH ???? b. abt.1790 (mother)
