Thanks for your work on this. I did not previously have a father for Rachel Rowley. However, I think the answer is the way I have her in my records. She was Rachel M. Rowley. What does the 'M' stand for? I say it was Marietta and that she went by her middle name in both the census and the will. I have her in my records as Rachel Marietta Rowley and since her children were born in NY, I did not have a location for her marriage.
