Are you related to the Lincoln Co., TN, Whites (or Warrens)? Recently, that
site has been discussing the Warren family, including John M. Warren.

There are several Looney lines that came to Texas. Just off the top of my
head I know that there are descendants of the Robert (2) Looney Jr., Absalom
(2) Looney, David (2) Looney and Adam (2) Looney lines who ended up in
Texas. Two Looney brothers from the David (2) Looney line came to Texas
early (<1835), when Texas was still part of Mexico, prior to Texas gaining
independence and becoming a Republic.
