I am seeking:
`The Gordy Family - 1979 by Rev Steve Behr, Larain Ohio.'
Does anyone know a source for this book? Perhaps it is in the collection
of the center at SSU?
I became interested in finding Sarah Gordy's parents:
person: Sarah GORDY, m. 1760, Delaware. (BN2N-T0)
born: 24 SEP 1740, ,Sussex Co.,Delaware.
died: ,,Georgia.
father:
mother:
spouse: John (1) PARKER (BN2N-SS)
>Hannah PARKER, b. 1761, Delaware. (26XQ-W2)
Jacob PARKER, b. 1764, Delaware. (26XQ-X7)
Priscilla (Pricilla) PARKER, b. 1767, Delaware. (26XQ-ZD)
John (2) PARKER, b. 1769, Delaware. (26XR-OJ)
Elizabeth PARKER, b. 1772, Delaware. (26XR-1P)
Mary (Polly) PARKER, b. 1774, Delaware. (26XP-WW)
-- William PARKER, b. 1778, Maryland. (179) ---
P Elisha PARKER, b. 1782, Maryland. (26XR-5D)
Peter PARKER, b. 1780, Maryland. (26XR-47)
Nancy PARKER, b. 1787, Maryland. (313N-R6)
Jim Parker tells me that John is likely "a descendent of one George
Parker, Millwright. His
> will was written in 1765 and proved in 1770 in Worcester Co., MD. He had
> 4 sons (John, above; Jacob, who
> also died in GA; Elisha and George). I believe that Elisha is same as
> one I have copy of will dated 1787 in Worcester Co., MD (Elisha had 4
> sons: Samuel, John, Elisha and George) and that George is same as one I
> have copy of will dated 1772 in Worcester Co., MD."
I am interested in any information about any of the Parkers mentioned,
or about Sarah Gordy.
Clear skies,
Al
