Dekalb Co, TN, formerly Smith Co. until 1837, Liberty especially is the
site
that many Eastern Shore families came to ca 1804 and later. There were
possibly as many as 4 EVANS brothers, (descendants of Walter); DALE's,
from
Rev War veteran Thomas DALE (he moved here ca 1809), GIVAN, WHALEY,
BRATTEN,
BLADES, TRUITT, etc. Can do more if you think this would be an
appropriate
link. Some people may wonder where someone got to.
